 Hide Ans

Solution:
Option(D) is correct

Units ordered = Units sold + Ending Inventory-Beginning Inventory

$\Rightarrow 3150+2880-2520=3510$

Total sales of Television in Rs. Thousand

$\Rightarrow 900+1800+6300+1050+2100+7350+1200+2400+8400=31500$

Sales Price per unit of Television in Rs. Thousand

\(\dfrac{31500}{3150}=10\)

Profits are $25\%$ of the cost price.

Sales Price = Cost Price + Profits = Cost Price $+ 0.25 \times $ Cost Price $= 1.25 \times$ Cost Price

Cost Price per unit of Television

\(=\dfrac{\text{Sales Price per unit}}{1.25}\)

\(=\dfrac{10}{1.25}\)

\(=8\)

The value of the order placed in Rs. Thousand = Units ordered $\times$ Cost Price per unit

$\Rightarrow 3510\times 8= 28080$
