 Q. If Dennis is 1/3 rd the age of his father Keith now, and was 1/4 th the age of his father 5 year ago, then how old will his father Keith be 5 year from now?
 ✖ A. 45 year ✖ B. 40 year ✖ C. 55 year ✔ D. 50 year

Solution:
Option(D) is correct

Let the present age of Dennis and his father be $x$ and $y$ respectively.

and

$(x-5)=\dfrac{(y-5)}{4}$

On solving both equation we get $y= 45$ year.

Hence, required age $=(y+5)=$ 50 year
